Not to be outdone by his ex wife\u2019s real estate moves<\/a>, Dr. Leonard Hochstein has purchased a $6.9 million waterfront home on Belle Meade Island in the gated Upper Eastside Miami neighborhood of Belle Meade. The plastic surgeon who also answers to \u201cDr. Lenny\u201d and \u201cBoob God\u201d has been featured on Bravos Real Housewives of Miami franchise, with his highly contentious divorce from Lisa Hochstein being a major plot line in the latest season.<\/p>\n

The home is located at 1161 Belle Meade Island Drive, on a wide bay lot with 120 linear feet of bay frontage and a deep water dock. The home was built in 1956, but renovated in 2010. It sold at a loss, as the seller originally listed the property for $7.5 million<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Dr. Lenny was quick to explain that the property is an investment, and he is quite satisfied with his Star Island<\/a> manse that he once shared with the original Mrs. Hochstein. He is currently engaged to his new, younger fiance Katharina Mazepa.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m always looking at opportunities to buy something special and I think this property is special,\u201d he told The Real Deal<\/a>. \u201cAnytime I can get almost 120 feet of water frontage on a wide bay \u2014 there are not too many places like that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The the Key West style home is just over 2,900 interior square feet with four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. It has an open floor plan that is prime for entertaining and a spacious backyard area with a pool, alfresco dining, deep water dock, outdoor living area and lounge spaces.<\/p>\n

The property was purchased with the use of a family trust. It is unclear if he will lease the home or use it as an event space, or just hold it to resell at a later date.<\/p>\n

As for his Star Island mansion, he and Lisa purchased the property at 42 Star Island Drive in 2012 and launched a campaign against the Miami Beach Historical Commission to tear down the original $2 million home. Ultimately, they won the bid and the battle was another major plot line on the Bravo show.<\/p>\n

After hosting a \u201c1920\u2019s theme\u201d demolition party for the cameras, they constructed a jaw-dropping 20,000 square foot palace on the lot. It is now valued at north of $52 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Lisa resided there until recently when she leased a $32,000\/month full-floor residence at One Ocean<\/a> on Miami Beach\u2019s South of Fifth neighborhood<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We expect to see all of this in the next season of Real Housewives of Miami, complete with Dr. Lenny\u2019s wedding to the new Mrs. Hochstein.<\/p>\n
